I got a jdm b16/ gsr tranny in my hatch. I got a ACT extreme pressure plate with a street disc(9k miles) and I/H/E with aebs manifold and chipped p28. I got my fuel pressure set at 42 psi. My question is whenever I race the car and shifting from 1st gear into 2nd gear the car/motor lags for a quick second. Almost feeling like if the clutch isn't gripping. Making the car having a harder time catching speed. Now going from 2nd into 3rd gear is okay. Can it be a clutch system going bad? Lose of compression? Any input or suggestion is appreciated. thanks.

are you falling out of vtec on that shift due to the gsr trans? (I too am running a gsr trans, and before I went fi it was too easy and annoying to do shifting to 2nd)

no. becuase it just recently started doing this about two weeks ago.
But, with the gsr tranny on the b16 I can definetly feel the difference in the revs compared to a si tranny.

any other suggestions?
