For those too lazy to check the link... The guy was rebuilding his engine, and a tube of BBs (from a BB gun) fell into the intake and lodged there. When the tube opened, well, let's just say it wasn't good!

Thats's almost as bad (hilariously) as the Herculiner incident on the Explorer forums. Ouch.

I don't think we're "oogling". I look at it as a learning experience. The owner had shared his misfortune so that others may be forwarned. I have nothing but sympathy for his situation and am glad he could share with us.

 

OK. I meant no disrespect to the members here...I saw this thread get out of hand in another forum here and didnt see the need for it to do so here. I too have sympathy for that fella,

I know you all here are very well mannered and respectful..... I just didnt want people laughing at his misfortune.

 

I don't know why any car lover would laugh at that.

 

Nobody here is laughing.

Consider it a learning experience to be VERY VERY careful whenever you have your engine exposed.
