Removing obd2 crank sensor?

Removing obd2 crank sensor?
I have a c5 shortblock and dont need the sensor on the crank. The engine is completely dissambled now, just back from Bensons. Question is can i just remove it without and issues and everthing just bolt back up? and does it matter what crank pulley i use... GSR? ITR? B16
