Default Crank Sensor Replacement?

I need to replace my crank sensor in my 99 Civic Sedan. Not being very familiar with the Civic I am not even sure where the crank sensor is located. I expect it isn't hard to replace since the Honda Stealership told me it would be $212 for parts and labor. I would rather just do it myself and save the cash. So if anyone can at least point me to where it is on the car I should be all set. Or if anyone has a write up or some pics on the process that would be even better.

Thanks

Joe

the crank sensor is located behind the lower timing cover, behind the crank pulley.

its not hard, but you will either need a powerful airgun to pull the crank pulley bolt or the crank pulley tool.

I would suggest spraying some penetrant on the crank pulley bolt, like an hr or so before you try to crack it.
