I NEEED HELPPP!!!!!!!
Man I am at a total stand still trying to figure out why this motor won't fire up. I am running a JDM h22a with the original JDM internal coil distributor. The wire harness I used is from my F22B1 original motor with sensors and wires lengthened. The distriputor wiring was crossed refrenced and wired up to accomodate the difference in years. We know for a fact the distributor wiring is configured right. I am also using the JDM P13 ecu that came with the motor. Since my car was OBD2, i purchased a wiring harness that converts my OBD2 to an OBD. At this point, I am basically looking for some troubleshooting steps I could take to determine why the motor turns over, but I am not getting any fire to my plugs.
Advice thus far:
1. Could be the ignitor or internarl coil, may need to replace either or or both.
2. May have to convert JDM internal coil to US external coil from a 93-95 prelude.
3. Check the OBD2 to 1 Conversion harness and make sure pins/wires are in correct place.
Question:
How in the world does one hook this JDM distrutor up to work? Am I missing something?

i had the same problem in my 95 accord. i bought a new distributor. new coil. tried 2 ignitors and bought an ignition switch before finding that it was just a messed up part in my wiring harness....we finally found it by having one person turn the key and another person have a spark plug out and grounded in one hand...and another hand moving around different sections of the harness...eventually we found that when we moved one part of it to the rear of the motor that it would get intermiten spark...i know how you feel man...it sucks when the only problem you jknow you have is that it wont start....good luck and keep me posted
Could be the igniter. I've heard of a lot of accords having problems with start ups and it turns out to be the accord. But you've got the JDM H22 so it could be something else.
oh yea and making friends with certified honda techs makes all the difference in the world...go to you local dealer and find the guy with the car in the lot that is like lowerd on hub caps and has a black powdercoated frontmount...those are the guys you wanna deal with
