Hi there. Okay, if anyone can help me and it works I will send you 10 bucks via paypal. I have an obd2 car(96 honda accord). I just put in a obd1 h22a(honda prelude vtec). I'm using the obd1 ecu and the skunk2 obd2 to obd1 converter. The question I have is with my distributor. I'm using my old accord obd2 engine wiring harness. Everything matches up except the distributor because the distributor is obd1. Any help on how to hook it up. Do I need a obd2 distributor??? Does anyone have distributor wiring diagrams for obd1 and/or obd2. Any help would be very appreciated. Thanks. Chris

 

Is it a JDM motor?

 

Yes it is a jdm engine.

 

Everything else bolts up. Depending if your motor is JDM or not, but if you use a JDM motor.. the distributor will have an internal coil where as the USDM counterparts use external coils... What you need to do is wire up the JDM dist. to use the internal coil.. One of the wires on the USDM coil harness has to be jumped inorder for the JDM coil to fire up.
