JDM swap, wiring info needed
I just installed a 96 JDM b18c into my 93 hatch. I was told that some rewiring and/or re-pinning would be needed. Do i need a sub harness, will the stock d15 wiring harness work?

Re: JDM swap, wiring info needed (jess press)
If you want to minimize the wiring to the least possible, get a USDM OBD2 GSR engine harness. After that you'll only need to add the wiring for the VTEC solenoid, knock sensor and IAB from the shock tower plugs down to the ECU. There's no need for any aftermarket sub harnesses or adapters. Yes you can also reuse your stock D15 harness but it will require a little more added work since the 96 motor has OBD2 plugs on certain parts which would need changed.

Re: JDM swap, wiring info needed (VTECVillain)
Thanks for the reply. I would like to use my d15 harness. I have a jumper from the ecu to the existing harness and found the distributor and alternator connectors need to be re-pinned. Can the wires be transfered straight across as in the top four wires from the jdm distributor connector to the top four pin holes on the d15 connector. Or do the wires have to be moved around.
