Default what to expect at dyno...

hey guys, what's up?? Just a quick question for you guys..

Bunch of my buddies and I are going upto Boston this weekend to get our cars dyno and tuned. I currently have a JDM h22a, i/h/e hi flow cat clutch and flywheel. Also have an untuned VAFC. After being tuned right, what do you guys think I should have? I'm just curious so I have a feeling as to what to expect.

Thanks ahead of time!!!

Check the prelude forum. H22 is more prelude than accord in the US, whichever car it's in doesn't matter. Just do a search I'm sure at least 20 preludes have these mods that have dynoed their car.

150 whp for a h22 is bad, they are in the ~165whp stock.

yeah but then again the accord i think is heavier.. so i wouldnt doubt it..

but you should be pushing at least 170 with some decent mods

a dyno doesn't measure in weight...weight has nothing to do with the measurement at all...i think 165-180 is what you should expect...don't get your hopes up though, as you may be disapointed...i'm curious though, which tranny are you using?

we know that, my comment was in reguard to the fact that they list the 165 as the stock hp for a prelude.. i am sure in a heavier car, the power would be less, cause of the strain.. i could be wrong..

no, the dyno doesn't factor in weight at all...if a 1200 lb car and a 3500 lb car had the same motor and setup, it would read the exact same amount of power...

bwahahaha... weight definetly is not a factor.. And plus.. I think the transmissions are almost the same, therefore the same weight.. I dont think your so-called "strain" would really matter...
