If it's a JDM swap on mine it was the IAC valve at the bottem of the throtle body mine did the same thing 700-3000rpm gets really annoying but the vlave off a GSR fixed it right up no idles at 690-725rpm all the time.

wouldnt that be the fast idle thermo valve, cus my engine is the jdm motor, and the IAC is on the front of the Intake Mani, behind the rail and injectors
thanks though...im gonna check it as soon as i get home from class...peace

I have the same problem, it started out only when the car was cold. Now it revs all day. It ranges from 1k to 3k.
Im assuming its a vaccum leak. I have to fix it soon, its not nice in commute traffic, When I push in the clutch to ride 1st and second gear the car will accelerate then just stop and the car jolts.

FIXED...it was the Fast Idle Thermo Valve...took it off, and it was backed all the way out...so i screwed it in a little bit...and it worked fine....not to mention my idle screw was all the way out...so it would idle at like 3k....but thats all fixed.....
thanks to all who put in their two pennies
