Ok; I have a B18C. I know that the bore is 81mm and the stroke is 87.2mm. The motor is getting bored over to 83mm. What will it be? A 1.8L or a 1.9L? After doing the math I came up with 1887.420 for displacement. Is this correct?

If so how in the world people clame that they have a 2.0 when it is a B18C with 84mm x 87.2mm =1933.171 displacement. The stoke never changed. And even if it was 89mm it would only be 1973.071. Now that I could see.

But anyway; what would I be a 1.8L or 1.9L?

No; It getting good ol Gorillia sleeves!!!

 

I believe they aren't true 2.0 liters with 84mm GSR blocks. I think they are closer to 1.93 liters.

 

yes that's true....a true 2 liter i believe is 86mm bore...unless you are using a larger crank
