I need some help. I gotta work with what i got, i figure its time to put it to use. What are some settings you guys recommend for the VAFC on my itr. Its basically Stock, sept for AEM cold air intake.

 

I'd liek to know too.

 

try searching about tuning because by you setting your settings to someone's VAFC settings will NOT necessarily benefit your car even though they may have similar mods.

If all he has is an AEM CAI and a VAFC dyno time would be a waste of money IMO. Use the butt dyno...save your dyno $ until you have more mods...

 

Don't go by someone else's settings....that's dumb....every engine breathes differently...take it to the dyno...

 

dyno time man. wiht the vafc and cam gear tuning i gained around 7 horsepower on the top end but the real gains came in the midrange. i gained upwards of 30 horsepower from post vtec engagement up to around 7000. my vtec x-over is at 5200, if that helps at all.

 

Purchase a set of cam gears and take a ride to P1auto for some tuning.
