Default fuel pressure not holding on the gauge when the key is on

the fuel pump is a new walboro. it is coming on and priming. on the gauge it will hit 42 for a half second and then drop to about 10 within a second. anyone have any ideas on what could be wrong? aem rail and regulator. it's on a '00 itr that i put in a conversion harness and p28. i don't smell any fuel or spot any leaks. near the pump or in the engine bay.

Its just not a super duper tight clamp. It happens when you modify the fuel system most likely there is nothing wrong. Double check for leaks, but other than that dont worry about it. As long as it holds pressure while the engine is running and not leaking its fine.

either your fpr went bad or the pump's check valve return valve thingy is broken.
Did it just start doing it when you put the new pump in?

I put a new fuel rail on my car, if I key one it primes and holds, if I turn on the engine then turn it off it doesnt hold. It not a problem.

i put a stock regulator on there and still the same thing. no fuel spraying from injector o-rings either. no smell from the fuel pump area (uncovered to double check there) and everything is hooked up there right. won't hold pressure and won't start.

If fuel system is not able to keep pressure is either:
fpr, drain back check valve, fuel pump not working, leak.

so try putting stock pump in; did it start doing it with pump install?

well the stock pump holds pressure so i guess it would be the valve. now i'm not getting any power to the injectors. i wired in a resistor box and 450's. not getting any power to the injectors now so still not firing. i guess i'll try a different box cuz the wiring is right.
