Ok so i washed my car today, and when I got in to go for a ride the tranny is humming in every gear, it gets louder until like 40mph then the loudness quits increasing. Im thinking like shaft bearing?

 

I just bought a s20 ex from speester for 150.00 and he said no grinds nothing wrong and friday it went in and , same **** your saying like a whiring developing into a slight roar if you ride the low gears out for a while. dude it pisses me off when somebody lies.took that POS out went back to the DX and all is good. sorry had to vent, hope you figure it out.


P.S. SPEESTER YOUR A THIEF!! i hope your tranny falls out of your **** !!!

 

Well let me tell you this, last thursady my tranny was whistling and whinning too, only half way thourgh my 60 mile commute home from work I had no more tranny. Lucky for me my diff. didnt lock up like my friends did on him. I was able to make it over 6 lanes to pull off the freeway.

 

bah, now it stopped whinning in 5th, but N, 1-4, clutch in, or with clutch out, I really don't have the time or money, to rip it apart grr.

 

mayb try to add some more tranny fluid
