Boosted BB1 Stage 1 pics!
STAGE 1: BUILDING A BULLET PROOF BOTTOM END
H22A1 block sleeved with darton Iron sleeves. The block has been line-bored, honed, decked, and has a micropolished/balanced crank. Crower Rods and CP Pistons(9:1) will be fitted into it making the block ready for at least 600whp!
Now I just need to figure out which Turbo to buy, and which EMS I will use. Hondata, AEM, and MicroTech are the contenders. Golden Eagle IM, and LOVEFAB Turbo Manifold. Is there any little "heads-up" people can give me when assembling this block? I trust my engine builder with my life, but any input would be appreciated. I plan to use OEM bearings. Head gasket suggestions? Thicker? maybe to drop the compression just shy of 9:1?

^^^^^These are not the actual pistons^^^^^
Stay tuned for Stage 2 which will be posted in a couple of weeks.

They sure are..........I figured I had to disclose that they aren't actual pistons before someone felt the need to try to blast me............
CP won't let you link from their site, and my pistons are on order!

they look like ford pistons, something small bore, like a 302 maybe. most chevy stuff would have more of a dome area, although the valves reliefs are huge, and chevy typicallt uses larger valves
