DSM SMIC install on a 5th gen civic
I just put in my 1rst gen. sidemount and anyone running without an intercooler should defintly pick one up...I drove around hard like really hard for a half hour and the charge pipe was like ice and it pulls much harder now. As for the install its really simple with the greddy kit. An easy way to get it to fit good is cut the pipe that bends up from the bottom of the intercooler right where it bends then cut off the bend from the piece you cut off to make a straight extension then go to the hardware store and get a coupling and hose clamps I found a piece that was all one piece for about 3$ I think it was 1 1/2" connect the stubby part coming off the intercooler to the piece you cut off to make a straight piece and itll reach the pipe that comes off the turbo if you have a tig welder then obviously weld it up, the top one works like stock you just cramp down the hoseclamp alot cause the coupling is to big it was all pretty simple though. Just thought id share my experience for anyone considering doing this, I will try and get pics up tomorow if anyones interested....

Then hopefully keep with the dsm theme and get an evo8 front mount.
