Default EG Civic quick ratio manual steering rack?

Does such a thing exist? I would love to get a quick ratio manual steering rack for my 92 Civic HB. Does anyone know of any companies that sell them?

Thanks,
John

Thanks Shaun. I am emailing Fastbrakes to see if there was any movement on the Quaife racks. It looks like it kind of died and never went anywhere.

Just swap in a 94+ Teg rack. The ratio is just about the same as the Fastbrakes was supposed to be.
You'll need to swap in the subframe as well for a truly bolt-in swap, but you can mod the Civic's rack mounts to make the Teg rack fit.

Just out of curiosity didn't some or all of the '97 ITR's or some of the JDM ITR's (possible an N1 version made like the CTR) come with a manual steering rack?

What was the ratio on those?

Well I know they all had Power Steering racks of 16:1, but was a manual rack ever made with the same ratio of 16:1???

That is what I meant. I thought there was and it could be used on any 94-01 teg or 92-95 civ. Just was rare.

I contacted Quaife and they said these racks are already prototyped and will be going into production early summer. They are going to retail for $270. There will be one for 88-91 Civic/CRX's and another for 92-95 Civics and 1994-2001 Integras.
