ok, i was searching through ebay, just browsing through.. and i come across these auctions.. called "speedchips" What are these things?
the title was as follows:
+20HP SPEEDCHIP HONDA ACCORD, CIVIC 93-98 99 00 01 02
does this work? is this safe? anyone hear about this before?

 

i heard about it but never tryed it. so lets see what the others have to say

 

may be referring to an ECU upgrade programmable chip to replace stock.

 

Fact: anything that claims 20 HP off a resistor is BS

Don't waste your time or your money. for scammers and ricers who think this **** works.

 

yep if you really want to try it just buy a resistor for 5 cents at a hardware stock and try it everyone clamps it does help but that's just because they know they got scammed but I bought a mugen upgrade chip for the ECU and it really did work let me rev to 8k in my f22b1 and let the vtec kick in at 3k you should have seen the grin on my face when I saw 7.5k on my tach dynotested it to be 171 hp with an intake and chip cost a good penny though

 

171 whp?? what gen accord and how much did this chip bust you?

 

lol I wish it were 171 hp it was a 94 accord ex and it busted me about 400 bucks installing included worth it to me cause it's not noticable and I dunno I like messing with the ecu..

okay..slip please.

i dont think a f22 can make power up there at 8 k, even if you can rev up to 12K, if it doesnt make any hp there, what's it for?
