Default Hasport mounts... Is it true?

I have Hasport mounts installed, and a friend told me that I can take off the tranny mount bracket, and the one on the other side. Is this true?

Dude, why the hell would you wanna do that?

The mounts are there for a reason; don't screw w/ them.

They're torque mounts to hold the engine from moving front to rear when your floor it. Leave them there, your friend needs help.
