Well...i kinda fucked up on my lower driver side ball joint...the castle nut spins freely with the stud...am i fucked? How am i supposed to get the nut off the stud now? Anyone have any idea? Need to know fast...

Thanks

Thanks
Create some friction between the stud and the lower control arm by grasping it with a large set of channel locks. Push the lower ball joint stud harder into the lower arm. Works every time.

i figured it out...i had to jack that thing all the way in the air and have someone stand on the rotor to put weight on it.
Thanks for the help.
Thanks for the help.
Well, what I did is I walked away for a while, and when I came back I brake-cleaner'ed both the threads on the ball joint, and the castle nut, cleaned them up real good, and it threaded on first try.
 on me, it's a ball joint, it's SUPPOSED to spin, sigh.
