what could be the problem?
alright guys and gals, just so you know I have already searched for this topic and found nothing.
I have a 93 Si hatch and the passenger side wheel sits to far back to the left. The wheel is not centered in the middle of the wheel well like the driver side. There is about 1 1/2 to 2" of space between the tire and the left side of the fender and about 3 1/2" to 4" of space from the tire to the front bumper. So what do you think is causing this? Please let me know ASAP because this is really starting to get on my nerves evertime I look at it. TIA!

Your talking about looking at it from the side right? Not like looking at it from the top. Has the car been in a accident and a pic would be golden to help you out more.
Yes looking at it from the passenger side. And yes it has been in an accident from the front. And I dont have access to a digicam or anything. Any ideas as to what it is? thanks!
Your control arms might be bent and thats why you have the gap. When did you notice this, after the accident? or did you buy the car knowing it was in a accident and didnt know this wasnt fixed. I would have a shop look at it cause it could be something serious and leaves you stranded on the road.
I did buy it knowing it was in an accident but I didnt notice this problem until now which is about 7 months later. but it bugs the crap out of me now. Also I just recently changed the springs and shocks and looked at the lower control arms and all the suspension parts around it for anything unusual and everything looked fine. Maybe I missed it. Could anything else besides the control arms cause this to happen. That way I can double check it. TIA!
