I'm not getting spark
Please guys read this conversation.
iNetArmy: i installed the head
iNetArmy: but now im getting no spark to the spark plugs
iNetArmy: i took off the plug of the msd coil and cranked it, but nothing
iNetArmy: no spark
iNetArmy: does it have something to do with the positions of the distributor or not?
MinerMatt69: it should spark irregardless, as long as the coil iws working
iNetArmy: uhm
iNetArmy: coil is new
MinerMatt69: ok
iNetArmy: everything was working before
MinerMatt69: yeah
iNetArmy: maybe when i was cleaning the engine some water got to the coil
iNetArmy: or the distributor
iNetArmy: what do u think?
MinerMatt69: if water gets in the distirbutor itll arc internally and youll get new spark
MinerMatt69: no*
iNetArmy: anyways i dont think the problem is the distributor
iNetArmy: maybe the wires?
MinerMatt69: only if one wsant soarking...they wont all fail at once
MinerMatt69: thatd be weird
iNetArmy: maybe those for the cracnk sensor
iNetArmy: remember i did the mpfi swap
MinerMatt69: hmm
iNetArmy: i dont remember if without those wires it sparks
MinerMatt69: im not sure either
iNetArmy: its crazy
iNetArmy: what else could have been damaged pulling out the head?
MinerMatt69: dunno, nothign spark related
MinerMatt69: i dont think
iNetArmy: then it has to do with water
iNetArmy: but i covered both
iNetArmy: the coil and the distributor
Any ideas?

I don't understand "I took off the plug of the msd coil and cranked it, but nothing"
So you didn't have the coil hooked up and you were trying to start it? Are you getting any codes on the ecu? check engine light on? The 2 main culprits in no-spark situations are the coil and ignitor.

I took the coil plug off and cranked to see if it had spark, no luck.
I have no codes on the ecu.

Most likely the problem is with the wirning. Its usually something simple. Make sure that you have the plugs @ the ECU in tight and the all clips to the dizzy and all wires to the coil correctly connected. I couldnt get my car to start the other night because a wire had come out of its connector, took me 4 hours to find it. Once I did, stuck it into the connector and the car started right up.
good luck
