Once again, she walks out of my life.... (Hatchcrap, #88, ECHC, engine parts, etc...) Pics
Well John W. took her away from me again yesterday.... 
#88 is ready for action in the 2004 season of the ECHC, the 'ole Hatchcrap is now back in it's owners hand.
Few pics:
TI is totally a wear item (second set of tainers for the hatchy)
Perfectly good reason why a good engine builder "should" clay the assembly before cranking, it doesn't get much closer than this. Lucky, lucky, lucky [stock head/bottom end, Toda cams/springs, two layer gasket..... BTW]
A loading dyno is such a wonderful thing......

How long were those retainers in there? One season? Looks like that one was getting pretty close to failure.

Actually, new set would be third. We put in a new set mid (first) season upon discovering the first set of portflows were doing the same thing, remember? That set, the razor edged one you are holding, was the set AJ sent us!!!!

How many miles were on those TI retainers ? Do all TI retianers wear like that ? or is the from Coil bind ?
