urgent oil leak question in spark plugs
about a month and a half ago i changed my valve cover and dumbo me forgot to put the gromets on the spark plug section of the valve cover... so oil leaked in... i cleaned it all out and put the gromets on...about a week ago i took off my wires, and relized there was more oil in the 4th spark plug, so i cleaned that out, a few days ago while hitting vtec my car misfired at like 7 thousand rpms and is countinuing to do that only in vtec... anyone think its from the oil in the spark plugs....is it getting a bad spark? should i change plugs and wires?
I would recommend you to:
1) check your oil level. car must be level and COLD.
2)change out the spark plug seals
3)change out the spark plugs for some cheap copper ones to see if there is a power difference.

car can be warm..
why the hell would he put cheap plugs in his car?!
just get new plugs and plug seals.. if that doesn't solve the problem, then you have something more severe(and costly) going on.. always try the easiest/cheapest fix first..
and remember to put the spark plug grommets on next time..

Maybe the fact that copper is a better conductor than platinum, not to mention a shitload cheaper...*shrug*

I meant cheap as in CHEAPER than stock platinums. Basically trying out fresh plugs.
