I finally finished my mpfi swap with great relief. Now i just can't get the damn thing to idle correctly. I tried setting the idle by how the book said but it still wants to idle at around 1500rpm to 1750rpm. Does anyone know how to fix this?

 

let the car fully warm up
it will go back down to normal.

 

even after the car warms up it still wants to idle from 1750rpm to 2000rpm. The adjustment screw is all the way down and i have even played with the vacuum lines and it still idles high

 

spray your IACV out with carb cleaner

also reset your ECU

 

where is that located?

 

does the car have any cel's?

 

What is a cel? I have a 90'crx with a mpfi swap. It idle at 1750rpm. I messed with the idle screw and i have tinkered with the vacuum lines but the only way it runs right is when i have the vacuum set where it idles high.
