Default Radiator Clearance Issues...

Anyone else have problems when first putting in your turbo setup? Basicly I have a Rev-Hard setup on a 99 Prelude. The turbo is just about touching the upper radiator hose and the turbo is almost touching the fans.

Just want to know what you did to resolve... I'm going to spend all day after I get off trying to work it out.

Almost everyone who installs a turbo will clearance issues somewhere in there. Might want to talk to PrecisionH23a, he heavily modified his radiator. Could get some tips.

Thanks dude.. aslong as I'm not the only one.... I'm probably going to shave my fan a little bit and replace my radiator hose with steel braided hose just incase turbo rubs as motor moves.

Agreed. I had this same problem on my integra, and I simply cut a section of fan shroud off and the clearance was good after that. No fan problems resulted.

As for the hose, I definitely agree about the steel braiding or maybe even finding a silicone hose (www.bakerprecision.com)

Thanks for the info... I might be better off though with the steel braided if my turbo is to close/touches almost. Don't want to have to worry about wearing on hose.
