Default Overheating issues+ boost and car is new

So my car all of a sudden my car decided yesterday that it was gonna overheat.

I have never ever had a problem with my coolant system ever! I have had the turbo kit on for sometime now. I used to be able to drive around and boost on 100degree days and never ever overheat.

Then yesterday I looked at my temp gauge at a stop light and could actually watch it rise up very slowly past the halfway mark towards the 3/4 mark at idle. As soon as I started moving it would drop back down.

It only seems to heat up when i boost for a long period of time (remember I have been boosting for a while and never had this problem) and when it is at idle.

As soon as I move the temp gauge immediately starts to return to normal. I noticedt that there is MORE liquid in my overflow tank then when I started!

SO HERE IS WHAT I DO KNOW:::
My headgasket is fine (it is new)
My fans both kick on.
It overheats at idle and when boosting for a long time
Overflow tank seems to fill up more and more
My car is NEW, only has 19k miles!

All suggestions are greatly appreciated. thanks.

Just wondering, is your headgasket OEM or aftermarket? Is it thinner than stock?

It is aftermarket. It is actually thicker than stock to lower my compression. It has been installed sometime now and I never ever had problems with it. This all just happened suddenly.

I had these same overheating issues with a turbocharged B18C1 in an EG Civic. I never really got to the bottom of it, wound up going NA in the end.

My friend bought several items from me, including the short block. He found that the block had been decked beyond Honda's specs . I figured you'd mention if your block or head had been decked, and since you're running a thicker headgasket, I dunno....

[edit] i wish i could type today![/edit]

Could it be that u just haven't noticed it before. Your engine will heat up more while idling or at a stop because of the air not being forced through. Your fans were designed for a normal engine not a hot engine with a turbo producing more heat. look at aftermarket fans. different radiator. try and get better air flow into radiator up front. besides that it should be expected at rest it will run hotter. just my $.02

No, I am postive it is has NEVER done this before. I have Hondata so I am able to read exactly what my temp is from my laptop. Normal is below 200degrees. I am going up to 214-216.

I have owned two turbo integras and never had this problem before. It is weird. It just all of a sudden started getting hot. Makes me think something is broken or clogged.
