Default daily driver: cast or race?

Im building a turbo yadda yadda yadda....

For my manifold I was told to buy a cast one. Im not keeping my ps or ac; so could a race one to get better airflow? Is this safe for a daily driver since its not cast?
Am I stupid for wanting a race manifold for a 250-300whp setup?
lol
Thanks
Nick

If you don't mind the extra $$, and you're getting rid of A/C go with the full-race, or lovefab.

what is so big about a cast manifold; its not a style is it; its a coding on the manifold right?
