Default HELP ME OUT! plug gasket leak

Wassup,

This happened before, but it apparently has happened again.

The gasket around the spark plug has died again, this time two of them.

This means that there is oil in and around my plugs.

This means no spark.

Anyone off the top of their heads know a solution to get my car up and running?

MY GF IS WAITING AT THE TRAIN STATION!

This is while i am at work btw.

BOO!

if ya want an ultra temporary quick fix, take a screwdriver and push a paper towel down the hole, make sure not to put too much of the paper towel down, or it will get stuck, but enough that it'll start to soak up some oil. I usually take the paper towel and scrunch it into a long strip, and push one end in with the screwdriver. Leave the paper towel in there for a little bit, until it starts soakin up some oil, and repeat as necessary.

Here's real help!

There is a product -- Steel Seal -- developed years ago by a guy at dupont. I used it for blown head gasket on 95 Pontiac Sunfire and it worked. Cost is $44.95 -- it takes about two hours to know if it works and its guaranteed! This stuff rocks so much that I asked the company to make me a rep. They shipped me a couple of cases of the stuff and I've been taking it around to shops -- Email me and I'll get you set up!

umm the rubber gasket around the spark plug tubes sure doesnt need a seal like a head gasket does....sounds like a good way to attach the valve cover to teh head gasket to me.

Depends on why the engine is over heating -- this product won't hurt the rubber or plastic -- it simply doesn't adhere.
