how exactly did everyone deal with this problem? i work at a honda store and have a tech doin my wirerin but he has no idea how to wire the coil. i have a h22 with a internal coil and its goin in my 1994 accord lx which has a external coil pack. im sure someone has run into this problem befor so please any resposes appreciated!

i did the h22 in my 93 accord i had no problem what so ever

 

when i put the h22 into my 92 accord we had to rewire the distributor to run an external coil to fit the car. but now in my 95 accord im running the internal coil again so we had to switch it back....i didnt wire so i couldnt tell you how to do it...but yes i ran into the problem as well

 

its not a problem for a mechanic that uses the wiring diagrams....the wire colors differ slightly for itnernal to external coil distributurs on the inside but its easy enough to figure out. bascially you run one wire from the icm to teh external plug that is missing one wire on the plug of the jdm distributor.that one wire originally went from the ICM to the internal coil, nowi thas to go from teh icm to the external coil wiring.
