Default Bad Wheel Bearing check?

Hi,

Does anyone here know how to check for a bad wheel bearing because it is hard to narrow down which one is bad. Any advice will be appreciated.

this is correct. 9 and 3 would check for outer or inner tie rod looseness.

also, you should take off the axle nut to get a better indication if the bearing is no good

i disagree. u can have a wheel bearing feel loose with the axle nut off, then tighten it up and the "play" in the bearing will go away.

yes, that is a false sense of tightness
a good wheel bearing will have no slop even when the axle nut is off
if u have to depend on the axle nut to hold the bearing together, its gonna take a **** soon
