anybody usind a water and oil cooled turbo?

Default anybody usind a water and oil cooled turbo?

i have a water and oil cooled garrett tb0211 and the guy i bought it from (he owns a deisel shop) said that i would be fine just blocking the water supply holes. just curious if there are any other options or if this would work just fine

Yes you can block the water. I have a T25 which is also water/oil cooled. I AM gonna run water cooling also though cause it reduces the need for a turbo timer (or for me to sit as it cools down).
Still alot of people choose not to run water. so...
