High RPM miss?
hey guys.
I am having a slight problem.
first off the setup is a LS/vtec fully built bottom end. 01 spec ITR cams and valve train. running 13-14 pounds of boost. between 7500 and 9000 RPMs I get a very slight missfire. very slight but enough to bug me. the a/f ratio is fine I know for a fact. (wide band O2). The plugs are gapped correctly. the wires are good. only other thing I can think of is its a stock ignition system?
what do you guys think?

Usually the B series ignitions can hold up to 450whp no problem. What exactly do you have your plugs set at? Which ones are you using? What is your exact a/f ratio reading between 7500 and 9k? There is a possibility that you could be running too rich in this rpm range. Also check your ignition timing, too little timing will do the same.
Any CEL lights? What EMS?
My guess is with 14psi your spark is being blown out by the boost pressure. So you need to gap around a .028 provided you are running a bcpr7es or bkr7e spark plug.
