ef b18a timeslips (did search)

Default ef b18a timeslips (did search)

i did a search and found nothin
i have a spare b18a im thinkin about building with pr3 pistons and a 2 layer head gasket should be 11.08:1 compression. im also gonna port and polish the head. does anyone know how much hp this will make or 1/4 mile time with ls tranny in a ef thanx

I am not positive as I have not run a setup like that...so I have no slips. I would assume you could dip pretty far into 14's with the mods you list. A VERY WISE investment would be a b16/gsr trans!! You will be MUCH happier! I have never run an LS with internals other than cams personally, but I have had quite a few LS swaps and never broken through the 15 mark on an LS tranny

yeah, with that set up probably be high, mid 14s. A b16 tranny would help alot.

invest in a b16 head aswell, you will lower your timeslips faster than getting a different tranny. frankenstien all the way baby

Why? I'd say it's true (If done right, properly built. Still, I'd agree on the B16 tranny as well.

i ran a 15.5 in my 91 hatch, b18a1, i/h/e. 2.4 60' on shitty tires... an LS hatch with bolt ons could pull low 15s, so high compression pistons and some headwork should net you about mid 14s on some good *** tires or drag radials

I ran a 13.62@101.7 with a B18A1, clutchmasters stage 3 clutch, Intake, and 30 shot NOS. This was on 20x8x14 slicks

i got a 90 crx dx with a b18a a couple bolt ons and ran 14.8@93mhp i now it could do better but ive been able to get consistant times , with a zex 50 shot and timming retarded to 15degrees with a bad launch and spinning tire in 2nd and 3rd i ran a 14.3@98mph could do way better ,,,,,,,,had a friend that had a b18a in a ef with 3 angle valve job , itr pistions and drag radlis he ran a 14.1@99.mph so i geuss ull net around 150 to the wheels
