OBD 1 Car OBD2 Motor, ecu,o2 sensor question
Ok i have done alot of searching and posted a few times asking these same questions but now one can answer them.
Ok i have a 1995 integra LS car(chassis) which is obd1.
And i have a 1997 JDM B18C Type R motor which is obd2.
i already did the dizzy and injectors, and other things. But my questions are:
1. What ecu do i use? i have a obd1 p72 ecu (GSR) and i also have a obd2 p73 type r ecu. and i have the apexi VAFC version 2. What should i do? conversion harness obd1car to obd2 motor. (is there such thing)
2. i need to know the first question before i can do anything about this one. again i have the 95 car and 97 motor. i just got my T1R (type one racing) exhaust and my carsound hi flow cat. (which was "custom" made because the JDM header is bigger than the gsr or ls cat) so anyway an obd1 integra has only 1 o2 sensor, and the obd2 integra have 2 o2 sensors, one in the downpipe and one in the cat.
So if i use the gsr (obd1 ecu) i can plug the the second hole for the o2 sensor, and have no problem, BUT if the gsr p72 ecu will be shitty with my B18C type r motor. than its not worth it.
Or should i use the p73 obd2 ecu and run another o2 sensor with the 4 wires to the ecu. WEll i dunno i really need help because its getting confusing and my car has not be running all winter, and i need to have it running in the next few days. So someone please help me this time. Thanks

well if ur wanting to use ur itr ecu, u could always get an o2 simulator. or like u said, run another o2 sensor after the cat, but with a high flow cat, i think ur likely to get a cel. y dont u convert to obd1 and sell ur p72 to get a p28??jus a couple of ideas..
