yep 15.5 1/4 mile. no for those who don't know it's a suzuki swift gt. And G13B is the engine code like H22 or B16. it's a 1.3 dohc 16 valve engine at 100 hp stock.

sorry i dont know swifts but is that a swap or stock?

in australia some of those had turbo 4 cyl with all-wheel drive and a 6 speed lsd tranny . must be nice to live over there. i have seen them with like close to 400 hp and mid 4 second 0-60 and low to mid 11 in a 1/4 .

 

So.. why is this in 88-91 and not a/c? Looks like ***.

 

Swift gt's are badass. I wish I could find one so I could turbo the **** out of it.

 

well i can't impress everyone but this is just first stage and yeah the car is mostly stock. except for the mods you see. and i am working on a turbo set up right now gunna produce about 160 whp on a 1600 pound car. so it's gunna be pretty fast.

I used to have a 1987 sprint Turbo, Loved that car, was quick and got great milage. Wanted to do the Swift GTI engine tranny swap but could not locate one. Car is long gone now. That 1.9 3 cylinder turbo was faster than an EF with a DOHC ZC, At leagal speeds anyway. All that car would do was 120mph, may have been limited. Drove it from Brehmerhaven, Germany to Pisa Italy in 15 hours. AND that 15 hours includes stops for food, stops at 3 army Bases along the way. Averaged 120 mph nearly the entire time I was on the road. Only gave it to salvation army because I couldn't find another good tranny for it. It wore out gearsets ever 50,000 miles in the tranny. to where it would not stay in first gear. After the second trans and being unable to find a good third I gave it to charity. But I would buy another new on in a heart beat.
