h22a in Honda Insight (Really?)
Does anyone think its possible to fit it... im trying to see if my friend is bullshitting me or not.. he said Darren Wilson (some of you might know him).. is going to do so..

Yeah, but imagine how light the insight would be if you stripped out all of the batteries etc...

I'm putting a K20 in my Insight. I'm not sure the H22A will fit. The engine bay seems wide enough but not long enough. It would probably require a custom intake manifold. The whole structure will require a lot of strengthening too. It's pretty wimpy.

You 'll also have to do some sort of knuckle and hub conversion. The stock hub uses a very small spindle. The last problem is the front track is about 56.5" so custom axles will also be needed.

Man that is so sick. I have been dreaming of full draging a insight since I first saw them. If anyone can do it I figured it would be hasport. Good luck!!! I cant wait to see the outcome. What is the weight on the insight?
