Default MSD quick question (internal coil honda CRX)

hi guys
im wiring a msd ignition box (6AL) to my honda CRX my question is how do most people get the wires from inside the cap (once its screwed back on) to the MSD box? do i just drill a hole and poke the wires through. also I take it the rotor arm will still be spinning so should i tape them out the way of this? any help would be greatly appreciated

thats what I did, the leads are coming out of the cap. I did try to seal the hole with some rubber cement. don't want moisture getting into the cap. could corrode you connectors.

u basically got it...if u want it to look clean try to make the hole on the bottom of the cap so u can't really see it.

the other thing you can do is pull the wires back out of the little rubber gromet that is already in the distributor... pull the rubber out trim it a little to fit the 2 wires and put it back on... saves drilling a hole not that it would hurt anything unless water got in there???

ok I drilled a hole to accomodate, seems to be ok but now Ive managed to wreck the heads of the two screws for the + and - of the coil. Any one got any suggestions on how I can get them out? Ive put WD40 maintenance spray on them and left them over night....

This is what I did

Can you not just cut the wires off the coil and pull it out?

I took a dremel and cut a big *** slot in the top of both of them. I was then able to use a larger flathead screwdriver to get them out with no problem whatsoever.
