Default HELP!... hard hesitation / studdering at 5000rpm... any ideas?

it occurs at moderate throttle. a hard, jerky hesitation. it feels like the spark is getting blown out. i thought that is what it was so i gapped my plugs at .030. but it is still happening. any other ideas? btw, no smoke and compression is 190 across the board. lemme know, thanks.
