Default Help: where can i get a wiring harness for my 95lx?

I really need one out of a 94-97 accord Lx----- i think they are the same. the one that i have is completely shot and spliced everywhere from the previous owner. ( i am in the process of an h22 swap and need one asap.) also, i know i need a 5 speed one but does it matter if its ex or dx? If anyone has one or knows where to get them, it would really help me out. thanks guys.

Search for a junkyard around your area. You can rip a harness out of a car there. Or just rewire everything. Make sure if you do that, that you solder all connections and you use shrink wrap around all connections. It's actually pretty easy to rewire the harness.

try and get one from an ex if you can so that you don't have to add the vtec selenoid and vtec pressure sender wires...it's just one more pain in the *** in a long list that you won't have to worry about...

so one out of an ex will work just fine with my lx as long as it is 5spd?

but as the car is not prewired for vtec like the ex it will still not be just plug and play.

edit: unless he uses the ex chassis harness too

You could do it the hard way too and have a custom harness

i'm sorry i am so clueless. so would it be better to get the lx or the ex wiring harness?

i think i may have found one that a guy is selling that is already pre-wired for honda accord ex/prelude motor. will that solve my problem? thanks for the input guys.

it all depends. preparing the wiring harness for the h22a is not a hassle, it's basically just common sense, you put the accord harness on the motor, see what needs to be done for it to fit and connect perfectly, and take what you need from the prelude harness that should come with your motor. it doesn't matter if it's cut, you don't need it.
