i personaly would not buy someone elses project especialy one of that magnitude. That is probably a good deal but you don't know much about the car except what the person tells you.

it looks like a clean swap the type-r parts will hold high rpm's it depends really on weither or not u can find something better but i would have it checked first to make sure everything is working right

i bought a red gsr hatch here in NJ for 5,000 with basicly the exact same setup, red, but all gsr. Full gsr interior too...all it has been is problems...i hate my car the way it is. NEVER buy a swaped car unless you know the person very well.... My car suxors...ill list a small portion of stuff that needs to be fixed/corrected:

Headlight wiring
New Tranny
old trans case cracked at rear mount because he only put one bolt in, as opposed to 2 bolts...
paint
bodywork
reverse lights
motor mounts
bad clutch (dosent disengage ie. have to start up in gear to drive)
its got a full gsr interior, but i've heard from people reciently that my car consists of a bunch of stolen interior parts (that part bothers me the most, if i had any idea i would have never bought it)
had to fix ignition
Like my friend said when he first saw the car after i bought it..."I think you just bought someone elses problem"

NEVER AGAIN. Plus the fact that he is on HT, and changed his name so he dosent have 2 talk 2 me. But i know who you are, and your a scumbag!!!

The thing that worries me most about that car is the fac that he's running on stock sleeves. With the kind of power he's making and high rev capabilities of that valvetrain, I can see those sleeves cracking any day.

I was thinking the same exact thing.. that's quite a bit of overbore for an already weak sleeve.
