Im building a turbo kit for my d16 and i was wondering whether the gains from taking out my a/c would be worth it or not? or

if you have a turbo, the few HP the AC robs won't make a difference. The question is can you fit it in there...

i would keep the A/C but i live in CA.

I'm losing mine, but thats just because i want an equal length manifold instead of a log or shorty.

i took mine out, i never used it anyway. engine bay looks a lot cleaner now, saved 50 lbs, and got 1hp
if you use it a lot, keep it in.

A well rounded modded car would deserve a/c. The loss of h/p would really be nadda. Im a little North of you and after swapping in the r motor I had every intention of putting a/c in. Hell I even had to buy all the a/c parts lol. But I never installed it.

I just went through the hastle of putting A/C back onto both of my Honda's. One is boosted and the other is not... I have been living on Oahu, but me and the wife are moving back to the burbs in Phoenix so had to hook it up with the A/C....

AZ desert summer heat kills with no A/C... oh, and turbo's love the heat too

You live in colorado, the only thing you are going to lose is cold air blowing into your face! The heater should still work though

There's no humidity there. I was in Breckenridge in July and it hit 86F (hot in Breck) one day and it was nothing.
