Hi , ive been thinking about this for a few day now , i got a m62 laying around. seem to be in great shape...


what you guys think about a gt2860rs pushing air into the m62 ? i know it would be hard to fit all this stock in the engine bay but i think this is pretty doable..

now im wondering , what the boost would be like ? what you guys think about this idea ?

the plan is not to make more WHP , im shooting for 300 WHP on the D16 , but i think the Torque curve would be quite nice...


any idea, output are wellcome !

Google articles concerning the MR2 2 Litre with both supercharger and turbocharger. The system works, however, the benefit was not worth the additional cost, which is why this phenomenon didn't really "catch on" with many people. You simply don't have the Displacement for a D16, no matter what you add, really.. Even now, there is little replacement for displacement.

Your english is fine compared to many who are considered Native to the language, so don't worry.

Sad but true. If you had used 'input' instead of 'output', I would not have known you are not a primary english speaker. The only other thing was "What DO you guys think..." I know it makes no sense to add the word DO in there, but just do it anyway

The GT2860rs is already such a great turbo for the 300whp area i think the supercharger could become a restriction if anything...
