i'm missing the studs on the block to help hold up the header...where can i buy these?
i'm currently doing a d16a6 swap into my hf and the motor i bought only had 2 studs on the block that help hold up the header and the oter 7 or so are missing. do they sell these at like a auto parts store or dealership or is it if they are gone your screwed? ok thanks for the help.

You can find all the studs you can ask for at the auto-wreckers.. take the studs off of a car that doesn't have a header - use vise grips.. and get the locking nuts off of a car that still has the header.

i dont know about using vise grips, i would u the right tool... youll run the risk of stripping it if u dont

A stud remover is the name of the tool..

Most places carry them..Sears for example:

There is a part on the stud where there is no thread.. small vice grips and a an open palm tap should do it. So what if there is some teeth marks on the shaft part.
I like buying tools.. but i haven't had to buy a stud removal tool for my project yet.
It's a slightly gehto way of doing it... hehe.. 8)

The two nut thing as mentioned above can also work..
