HELP ME... for someone reason my vtec doesn't hit as hard anymore as all the Gsr's i rode in. I have a friend with the same car 00' GSR and he always beats me by at lease 2-3 cars? My vtec hits but really weak. And i juss realize that when i hit vtec I hear a weird nose coming fro the motor.... Not to loud but you can hear it. It's not suppose to be like that cause i know what my car use to feel like. Juss in case you need more info I have a AEM CAI, Stock Headers, and a Greddy EVo Exhaust. Have any clue wuts wrong?

 

Yeah I'm having the same problem with my car. When it hits at 4400 you can't even tell its just a very slight change in tone but at 5800 it hits hard. When my friends car hits at 4400 its like mine at 5800. I would like to know also what the problem is.

What mods are done to the friends car that you've been racing?

 

I'd say take off ur vtec soleniod and check to see if its clogged up. if it is, just clean it maybe that'll help with ur problem

 

Hey Guys today I discovered a new Prob.... I added oil to my car and i was hopping on the freeway and when i was in 2nd i decided to try to hit vtec... Well it was a little bit better but then i was taking it up to 5th and Slowed down. I tried again from 3rd this time But it didn't let me Go exactly pass 5000 RPM. Now what's wrong?? I NEED HELP....

 

check your motor oil level..if you are running low on oil..it translates to a soft VTEC crossover...as for not being able to rev pass 5000 rpm's, could be the result of low oil as well..any CEL when you cant rev pass 5000 rpm's?? it should throw out a code.
