crx oil pressure gauge install.....did a search already
what i was thinking was to just replace the stock sensor with the autometer one. if i have an oil pressure gauge then i dont need a low oil pressure light anyway, right. somebody respond.
Do you mean sensor the oil pressure sending unit for electronic Autometer gauges? Because if thats what you mean no you can't do that. The autometer electronic gauges only read from autometer electronic sending units.
Make sure that when installing the sending unit you attach it somewhere to the block (I attached it to the ring bracket bolted down by the Valve cover). The block moves/flexes and the copper piping attached to the sending unit isn't meant to flex much.

Yeah you could, but if you have fautly wiring on the gauge how would you ever know if its just the guage or you need oil? I would run both. BTW you cant just screw in the autometer oil pressure sensor elec or mech. You need the correct fitting that has the right thread pitch. Contact Flamenco-T for one and a brass T.
