Oil Pressure Gauge Question
I have just purchased a autometer 0-100 psi oil pressure guage. I am wondering if i have to hook up the sender that came with the gauge or can i just take the signal from the factory pressure sending unit right above the oil filter. 1994 Honda Civic d16z6.

Re: (Boosted Power)
well, the gauge is electric on the back of the guage and a wire runs to the sender that you would tee into the block, with pipe fittings and such. I am just amking sure that i can just run a wire from the sender terminal on the back of the gauge to the factory oil pressure sensor on the back of the block, above the oil filter.

The gauge is not calibrated to the voltage signal of your stock sender, you must put the new sender into the oil system where you want to measure the pressure.
