now my car seems to be getting hot fast.. installed an AEM short ram intake before with the stock intakethe engine/head would get so hot but nowafter a small commute it gets pretty heated... but it does make a deep sound

 

Don't know what to tell ya man, it shouldn't be the intake causing that, i would do a search it could be tons of other things.

 

I say replace your thermostat.

 

could also be that your filter was bad and you weren't getting enough o2 in your engine, and now you are getting all you need so seems to run hot b/c it actually IS running hotter

 

check oil and radiator fluids? I know of short rams actually being too close to the header, and sucking up the heat. dont really know how to help ya bud w/o a pic.
