i understand if u take out the rocker arms your suppose to keep them in order and know where they came out of. heres my question i ordered a head and it was stripped. all the rocker arms came in a bag. how am i suppose to put them back into the correct spots. does it really matter where they go or will i have to order a set of new rocker arms to fix this problem. thanx alot

 

was there any work done to that head ? If there was, the shop probably also cleaned up and checked the rocker arms out as well.

 

yes the head was proted and polished and i am putting in new cams, valves, valve springs and retainers.

 

i think u can just put them in any where and then do a valve adjustment to set them, but i dont know if theres a difference between the in. and ex. one
