LS vtec timing belt?

Default LS vtec timing belt?

I am puting ls vtec into my 88 crx. what would be the best timing belt to use?

Its best to use a factory honda belt. If you are useing a B16a head you can use the LS timing belt,but if you use a GSR head you have to use a gsr belt. You can also use the same water pump (ls) or B16a pump.

If you're using a b16a head and the factory LS water pump, you can just use the LS timing belt. If you use a GSR head (or even a b16a head) with a GSR water pump you're going to have to shell out the extra money for the GSR timing belt.

I use the LS, it's cheaper )

Can you reuse the same timing belt or will I have to buy a new one?

It depends. Of course you can it's not like it's going to be any different than taking a timing belt off an LS and putting it back on an LS... it's just a matter of if you think it is in good enough condition to take the revs.

Word. And since they cost 45 dollars, it won't hurt too much to get one just to be safe.

go with a GS-R waterpump/timing belt setup, start new with items like those
