Default Rev hard Stage 3 turbo kit 550+ whp, is it worth it?

On the rev hard site http://www.revhard.com they have a new stage 3 turbo out and it gives my type s 500+ whp for about $4,900. Is it worth that much or should i look into something else. Please help i have about 4000 already and want to turbo badly

If you only care about racing a honda in a straight line ....then yes ....its worth it

500+ whp for $5,000 is good, but not realistic. The turbo may be good for 500 hp but that doesn't mean you will make 500. In order to do that you need to build your engine, run a lot of boost and do some serious tuning which =a lot of money. Not to mention 500 whp won't make for a very streetable car. So, in short just look at some other threads about turbos.

Turbo = Problems.

Plain and simple, a lot of maintenance is required to keep it running well.

I'm an all motor guy and the rsx-s has a lot of options. I've seen n/a's hit 13's and are streetable/reliable. That is more than enough. Especially if your not use to the power.
